Kirsty was tragically killed in late 2000. She had very strong views on women in music and was a sharp observer of the Britain of the 80s when she created many of her most memorable lyrics and performances. She was enjoying a new surge of musical creativity and happiness with a love of South American music, especially Cuba. See Tropical Brainstorm.
